I’ve been making jewelry since 2005, and it’s time to showcase my handmade creations. I love the sparkle of Swarovski beads and I incorporate them with natural beads in all my pieces. Most important to my creations is that each of them is inspired by the city I’m living in – New York City.
Inspired by the Fall Foliage in Lower Manhattan. (November 2012).
Last month, I visited the famous artist Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition at the Whitney Museum, NYC. Until today, her polka dots idea is still staying in my mind especially the white polka dots on the red background. I use the combination of kumihimo and beading methods and created this red-white necklace. (October 2012).
This necklace is inspired by the World Trade Center construction site this summer. I pass by the area every day, and feel proud looking at the progress of 1 WTC amid the noise and dust. The materials used for this necklace are dyed-jade large beads and neon-orange Swarovski crystal pearls (September 2012)
This elongated necklace is inspired by the tall building of One World Trade Center. I used capri-blue studded beads with Swarovski turquoise beads as a hint of summer (August 2012)
